Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how AllPlayers Network, Inc. dba Rank One ("APN", "Rank One", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you access and use our websites, applications, and other interactive services (collectively, the "Site").

By using the Site, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use, which governs your overall use of the Site, and our Data Sharing Agreement (where applicable), which governs the sharing of data between Rank One and subscribing organizations.

Key Points

  • We do not sell your personal data. We use your information to provide our services and improve your experience.
  • We collect data to make our software work. This includes information you provide (like your name and email) and data collected automatically (like your IP address and usage patterns).
  • You have control over your data. You have the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of your personal information.
  • Your data is kept secure. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption and access controls.
  • Third parties are used for essential services. We share data with trusted partners (like payment processors and hosting providers) only as necessary to deliver our services.
  • De-Identified Information may be used for business purposes. We may analyze, utilize, and commercialize aggregated, De-Identified Information (as defined below) for lawful business purposes, including improving services and developing new products.
  • Rank One is not the master student database. When our services are used by schools or districts, student data is provided and maintained by the school’s own systems. Requests to modify or delete school-provided data must be directed to your school or district.

Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our services. The types of data we collect depend on how you interact with our Site.

A. Information You Provide

This includes information you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Register for an account: Your name, email address, password, birth date, gender, and other profile information.
  • Use our services: Information related to your use of our software, such as schedules, athletic information, health and wellness data, or school affiliations.
  • Fill out forms: Contact information, financial data for transactions (like credit card numbers), and other details you submit in forms, surveys, or support requests.
  • Participate in partner promotions: Opt-in with your name and email address for contests, sweepstakes, or promotions.
B. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Site, we automatically collect certain data from your device, which may include:

  • Usage Data: Information about how you use our Site, such as the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.
  • Device and Log Data: Your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
  • Geolocation Data: We may collect and store geolocation information (such as city or town) only when you have provided consent via your device settings.
  • Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and tokens to collect information, personalize your experience, and remember your preferences. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings, though this may impact the functionality of the Site.
C. Information from Third-Party Sources

We may receive information from third-party services that you link to your account, such as social media platforms. When you use these features, you grant us access to the information they provide, which is governed by their own privacy policies. We also use third-party service providers for analytics and other business functions.

D. Information Provided by Your Organization

Important: When our services are used by schools, school districts, military bases, or other organizations ("Subscribing Organizations"), student and personnel data is typically provided to Rank One by the Subscribing Organization through a secure upload or automated data synchronization process. Rank One is not the master database for this information . The Subscribing Organization’s student information system (SIS) or equivalent system of record is the authoritative source. Data synchronized from the Subscribing Organization’s systems is refreshed on a recurring basis (typically nightly), and any data that has been modified or removed in Rank One but not in the Subscribing Organization’s system of record will be restored upon the next synchronization cycle.

Because Rank One does not control the source data, requests to correct, modify, or delete student or personnel information that originates from a Subscribing Organization must be directed to that Subscribing Organization. Rank One cannot independently and permanently delete or alter data that is provided and maintained by the Subscribing Organization’s system of record.

Important Limitation — Data Provided by Subscribing Organizations: Where your personal information has been provided to Rank One by a Subscribing Organization (such as a school or school district) through a secure data synchronization process, Rank One is not the system of record for that data. Requests to access, correct, or delete such information must be directed to the Subscribing Organization. Even if Rank One were to remove such data from its platform, it would be restored automatically during the next scheduled data synchronization with the Subscribing Organization’s system. We may create, use, and share De-Identified Information for any lawful business purpose, including but not limited to improving services, developing new products, conducting statistical analysis and benchmarking, and sharing with affiliated companies and partners. De-Identified Information is not subject to the restrictions applicable to Personally Identifiable Information under this Privacy Policy.

Data Security and Retention

We take technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Using encryption for data in transit and at rest.
  • Limiting access to personal data to authorized employees and contractors.
  • Conducting regular security audits and reviews.
  • Maintaining commercially reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards.
