Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how AllPlayers Network, Inc. dba Rank One ("APN", "Rank One", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you access and use our websites, applications, and other interactive services (collectively, the "Site").
By using the Site, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Use, which governs your overall use of the Site, and our Data Sharing Agreement (where applicable), which governs the sharing of data between Rank One and subscribing organizations.
We collect information to provide, maintain, and improve our services. The types of data we collect depend on how you interact with our Site.
This includes information you voluntarily provide to us when you:
When you use the Site, we automatically collect certain data from your device, which may include:
We may receive information from third-party services that you link to your account, such as social media platforms. When you use these features, you grant us access to the information they provide, which is governed by their own privacy policies. We also use third-party service providers for analytics and other business functions.
Important: When our services are used by schools, school districts, military bases, or other organizations ("Subscribing Organizations"), student and personnel data is typically provided to Rank One by the Subscribing Organization through a secure upload or automated data synchronization process. Rank One is not the master database for this information . The Subscribing Organization’s student information system (SIS) or equivalent system of record is the authoritative source. Data synchronized from the Subscribing Organization’s systems is refreshed on a recurring basis (typically nightly), and any data that has been modified or removed in Rank One but not in the Subscribing Organization’s system of record will be restored upon the next synchronization cycle.
Because Rank One does not control the source data, requests to correct, modify, or delete student or personnel information that originates from a Subscribing Organization must be directed to that Subscribing Organization. Rank One cannot independently and permanently delete or alter data that is provided and maintained by the Subscribing Organization’s system of record.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
For users in regions with data protection laws like the GDPR, we process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:
We may share your information with third parties for the limited purposes described below, but we do not sell your personal information.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address provided in the Contact Us section. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing your request.
Important Limitation — Data Provided by Subscribing Organizations: Where your personal information has been provided to Rank One by a Subscribing Organization (such as a school or school district) through a secure data synchronization process, Rank One is not the system of record for that data. Requests to access, correct, or delete such information must be directed to the Subscribing Organization. Even if Rank One were to remove such data from its platform, it would be restored automatically during the next scheduled data synchronization with the Subscribing Organization’s system. Parents, guardians, and eligible students should contact their school or district directly to exercise their rights with respect to education records.
"De-Identified Information" means data or information that neither identifies nor provides a reasonable basis to identify an individual, where the following identifiers (without limitation) have been removed: names, addresses, personal identifiers (such as social security numbers, student or employee numbers, or biometric records), indirect identifiers (such as date of birth, place of birth, and mother’s maiden name), and any other information that, alone or in combination, is linked or linkable to a specific individual that would allow a reasonable person in the community to identify the person with reasonable certainty.
We may create, use, and share De-Identified Information for any lawful business purpose, including but not limited to improving services, developing new products, conducting statistical analysis and benchmarking, and sharing with affiliated companies and partners. De-Identified Information is not subject to the restrictions applicable to Personally Identifiable Information under this Privacy Policy.
We take technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and to comply with our legal obligations.
We comply with CalOPPA by ensuring our Privacy Policy is conspicuously posted on our Site and is easily accessible.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

In such cases, we comply with the confidentiality and security requirements outlined in FERPA. We function as a "school official" under FERPA with a legitimate educational interest, and we do not use or disclose this information for any purpose other than as authorized by the school or institution and as permitted under our Data Sharing Agreement.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about our data practices. Your continued use of the Site after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
